Scope of Works
The wreck removal operation of the vessel, which includes removal and disposal of the pieces belonging to the ship and spread over the seabed, dead bodies, cargo, any loose debris, residual fuel, lubricants, and whatever remained on the vessel, was given to Aras & Solar Joint Venture with an agreement by P&I Club. The operations achieved so far under the supervision of a surveyor assigned by the P&I Club are as follows:
§ Because fuel oil and lubricants on board were removed before, the residuals were removed by our team.
§ 73 trucks and 2 cars were being discharged from Hayat N and sold to scrap firms.
§ Accommodation section and portside hull of the accommodation section of the vessel were cut underwater and removed by the help Floating Sheerleg Seka Ak-1 with 500 tons lifting capacity.
§ After welding and patching the openings and cracked sections of the vessel for water tightness, the capsized vessel was refloated and towed to a shipyard in Bandırma by Floating Sheerleg Seka Ak-1 and Tugboat Pegasus-3 for uprighting operation.
