*Scope of Works*	6 PE 100 pipes (each one having 500 m length, 1.4 m diameter, 55 mm wall thickness, and 110 tons weight) produced as one piece by FIRAT Plastic in Türkiye in order to be used for intake of seawater and distribution of drinking water at desalination plant which is being constructed by ENKA Construction in Libya were towed from İstanbul to Libya by our tugboat Pehlivan-2. For the first time in Türkiye, a towage at this extent was realized by ARAS. The convoy in length of 605 m and width of 10 m was tugged to Libya successfully and towage was accomplished safely. Çanakkale Strait was closed to maritime traffic and three tugboats escorted to Pehlivan-2 for safety during the passage.
