Reinforcement of the jetty of the eastern shores and protection of fourth jetty works undertaken by the agreement. Following operations were carried out in line with the instructions of Directorate of Public Works and GRTM Group:
§ .Worksite was founded by bringing the necessary equipment and removed at the end of the project.
§ Profiling and preparing bathymetrical map of the site were carried out.
§ Protection wall at predetermined area was increased.
§ .The breakwater was reinforced by locating rocks in weights of 0-0.5 ton, 1-3 tons, and 3-6 tons.
§ 400 concrete blocks weighing 10 tons each were laid onto the rocks.
§ .The project was completed by locating 760 tetrapods weighing 40 tons each on top of the concrete blocks.
Self-propelled split barge Paşa, floating crane Haşmetli, and tugboat Dalgıç equipped with online DGPS and echosounder were used in the operations.
