§ .Underwater survey was conducted in order to determine the condition of the ship on 16th of March. Survey showed that there were serious damages over bottom section of the vessel (almost 2 m length cracks and almost 50 m length damaged bottom sections) and the tanks were flooded with water.
§ .In order to refloat the ship, 30% of the flooded seawater on board was discharged by means of pressurized air and 12,869 metric tons of the cargo were transferred for lightening the vessel.
§ .After the required operations were realized, the vessel was refloated.
Our floating crane Herkül, tug Pehlivan-2, and workboat Sinbad were used in the operations beside the other marine vehicles used by Omur Marine.
